Madison Avenue Gallery Walk

By SRI Fine Art ServicesPosted on

Looking for a good excuse to enjoy the spring weather and take in some culture?  Consider joining SRI Fine Art Services, ArtNews, and the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District as we sponsor the Madison Avenue Gallery Walk on Saturday, April 28.

This event is free and open to the public and features 45 galleries along Madison between 57th and 86th Streets.  In addition to the fresh gallery shows, there are over 60 special events throughout the day including an auction, exhibition tours, and artist lectures.  Space for the events is limited, so be sure to RSVP.

Want to see some gorgeous drawing by Gustav Kimt?  Attend an exhibition walk-through at Shepherd W & K Galleries at 11:30 am.  Then head over to Hauser & Wirth for a tour of their Eduarado Chillida show at noon.  Itching to buy?  Meislin Projects will be hosting an art auction to benefit Brotherhood/Sister Sol at 1:00 pm.  At 2:00, join Acquavella Galleries for their presentation on “The Worlds of Joaquin Torres-Garcia”. These are only a few examples of the exciting events sponsored by the art galleries along Madison Avenue.

And of course, look for SRI trucks and team members along Madison Avenue!  We’ll be handing out swag bags for attendees and general good cheer.
